NO READING IN THE COMIC SHOP

Wednesday! New Comics day! All across the country, fanboys and fangirls rejoice!!!

This here is a flashback to the mid 80's at my local comic shop in San Diego. Back then it was called Comic Castle, it's still around and I haven't been back in years, but it does hold a special place in my heart. It would be interesting to go back and see if I drew the comic shop right, I'm going totally off memory. I remember new comics were on the wall by the doorway... Bonus points to anyone who can tell which comics are on the shelves and posters on the walls, they are based on real cool comics and I admit they might not all be from the same year.

So this is an image of us getting yelled at by the comic shop employee. This is also done by memory, so I apologize to you (the employee) if the drawing is over-exaggerated and played for extra drama... So here we are Keith, myself and generic comic shop customer looking at comics. And we are just looking... NOT READING. We are looking at the fine artwork and appreciating it, and also we had to check if the cover artist did the interior. I do not condone reading comics in the comic shop, in fact I hate it when people come up to my booth and sit there and read the comic all the way through and then walk off... WTF is that. At least give me some feedback.
