phoning it in

i went to a cartoonist meet up in Seattle last week. it's a thing where amateurs and pros (like Jim Woodring) gather to just sit around, doodle, drink coffee/beer and bullshit with one-another. i was having troubble finding my muse that evening so i decided to draw her. as you can see she hasn't been in to work in a long time. i dont think she cared for me calling her up asking where she's been.

i'd like to be a regular there, though that would involve a 1-1.5 hour drive for me every wednesday. maybe i'll try to go once every other week or so.

i think i'll be moving this to my scraps eventually.
