Too late. I already re-engineered the bridge completely. New pix up now.

3DSMax is payware ($1,700 annual fee) and I just cannot afford it. Old retired guy, you understand? I have downloaded and installed Daz Hexagon and it is quite powerful but it would mean unlearning everything I know from Anim8or and starting from scratch in Hexagon. I would have to struggle for months before I could even begin to be productive once more. Besides, you know the old saw about teaching an old dog new tricks? Well, it's true mostly. Actually an old dog can be taught new tricks but it requires a WHOLE LOT more work to do so. As it is I can make things even if they're not as fancy as possible. You understand?

The problem is that I have the door from the hold in the center and with the two spiral staircases there isn't a whole lot of room to move the corridor between the two spaces.

I've been thinking and as much as I don't want to do so I either have to reduce the width of the bridge - a serious undertaking because it would mean completely redoing the windows - or delete the bridge bump and forward bridge windows entirely. In that case I could have the bridge further back - closer to the hold and make it windowless with 2 or even 3 levels.

what is your preference. I'm not married to having a visible bridge blister. Your call.
