If you've taken art classes, studied color theory, or resorted to tutorials on coloring and shading, you've probably come across this advice before. But seldom has it been phrased so bluntly.
"The turquoise and coral worked all through the shadows are probably due to my painting instructor in college, the late Jerry Rudquist, who always said that as long was the shape was right, you could make things any color you wanted and people would assume it was the lighting.
