Anyway, this thing is done. As done as it'll get, anyway. I've been working at this on and off for a few weeks now, and I've lost my perspective on it, so it's probably for the best that I just let it go before I totally screw it up.
The purpose here was threefold. First, I wanted to try something more complex in the way of lighting; second, Genevieve LeClaire had asked me to color it; and third, I knew I could actually do a background for this one. So hurrah! Oh, fourfold, sorry. The wallpaper, wood panelling, and stone floor...oh, and the wood of the chair, and the fairly faint texture on the curtains...are all the result of photomanipulation and pattern-making. Which is the other thing I wanted to do: get some more textures into my art.
So anyway. There you have it. I do like Victorian pieces. It's such a nice mood.
