The Life of a Stark Chap 0.5Enough
Tony bought out the apartment not long after the QJ-Hax incident. There was no other way around it really. Peter had no legal way of keeping the lease or pay the rent, so the moment the notice had popped up, he jumped on it. It was the only home Peter knew of, and the boy was going through enough trauma as it is. The last thing Tony wanted was to see the boy lose something else he had loved so dearly, even if Peter never wanted to set foot in it again.
It had been about five weeks, and Tony nearly choked on his coffee when Peter asked if they could go to the apartment to collect some of his stuff.
Tony agreed to it instantly, though he did keep asking Peter if he was really sure about doing this. The apartment held so many memories of him and May, and it still looked like the boy wasn’t coping well with her death. Literally everything in that apartment could cause a sob fest that Tony knew he wouldn’t be able to stop. Peter insisted that he was going to be okay, clai

“Zélia.” He started. “Run.”
“RUN!” Peter repeated, grabbing Duende in one hand and Zélia’s arm with the other. He led them back the way they came through the maze, or at least, the way they thought they came. When they came into a different clearning filled with miscellaneous stones, one they hadn’t been through before, he knew he had gotten them lost. His spider-sense was in full swing. Something was coming, something big, but he couldn’t tell where and this maze certainly wasn’t helping the matter.
“Peter, what’s wrong?” Zélia asked, quickly taking her cat when they stopped. “You’re scaring me—”
Then he felt it, heard it, both of them watched as a football sized missile whizzed past them. Peter reacted extremely quickly, forcing them behind one of the larger rocks. The explosi

He double-checked, triple-checked everything. He had been preparing this potion since his return to Asgard, pretending to be his adopted father. It took everything to make sure he collected the ingredients as discreetly as possible, not wanting to raise any suspicious under his disguise. Now that he had everything, especially time to produce it, the potion would be finally be in his possession.
Now if only it wasn’t so… specific
Potions were never his strong suit, but with diligence, he could make them perfectly. Though this one was testing his patience. It needed to be produced at night, no moon, and several hard to come by ingredients. Pure ice from Jotunheim, melted down with the heat of a dwarf star, powdered nirnroot, a rare flower that could only be found in the untamed forests of Alfheim, sap from the roots of Yggdrasil, taken with no malice or ill intent (the easiest one to obtain actually), among other rare commodities with the rares

“… You’re amazing for doing this, Father Stark.” Vinn informed as the billionaire drove towards Peter’s school. Liam was next to him in the short limo while Tony was behind the wheel and Happy was in the front passenger seat.
Peter’s school was just about to let loose for that Wednesday afternoon, and even though there was nothing truly special about that day. Liam and Vinn still wanted to hang out with him and Ned. Their plans were to go to an amusement park and just waste the evening away with Zélia and Emma. Needless to say, the unsuspecting boys were going to be in for a shock.
“Just remind me why you two aren’t in school again?” Tony asked, looking at the boys in the rearview.
“I personally think that school is overrated.” Vinn answered.
Liam shoved his friend lightly. “That and our school is out on break.”
“But why Wednesday, of all days, to go to an amus
The Life of a Stark Chp. 2To Just be Normal
He rolled over and looked at the clock on his nightstand. It was just about nine o’clock, but he had no intentions of getting up. His plans were to have a lazy weekend, and he was going to take the lazy part of it seriously.
If only his mind would cooperate.
He was wide awake. It wasn’t that long ago when he would eargerly wake up at six just so he could make it over here in time to hang out with Tony. Sometimes they would go to the his labs and just work on stuff, throw a little training in there, especially if there was a suit that Tony wanted to try out. Sometimes they would go to the Avengers Bunker and do some official Avengers stuff. No matter what, he would be moving, thinking, always excitedly anticipating what was coming next.
And now that he gave up being Spider-man, it was hard adjusting to just Peter Parker, Peter Stark rather. He really needed to remember that his name was changed.
He rolled onto his back, staring up at the ceili

It was the final bell and Peter was trying to pack all the books he needed for the weekend. He was hoping that his returning week to school would be rather peaceful, but with everyone giving their condolences, other giving him curious stares, and a lot asking how he managed to get adopted by Tony Stark of all celebrities. He answered what he could, mostly that yes, he would have the last name Stark now, and lied about meeting the rest of the Avengers. He was beginning to remember why he never wanted to be popular in the first place, too many questions, too much attention.
“You’re not serious are you?” Ned asked when they finally got some quiet away from the other kids. His best friend leaned against the lockers that were next to Peter’s. “You can’t give up being…” He hesitated, making sure there wasn’t anyone nearby. “You know who. You just can’t!”
“Ned, I’m not going to go t
I'm a girl.
I don't smoke.
I don't drink.
I don't party every weekend.
I don't wear three inches of makeup.
I don't put sultry pictures of my bra showing online.
I don't make out with loads of guys, or other girls, to get attention.
I'm a girl, and I'm me.
And I'm not going to change for anyone.
