Where I live, there used to be a good deal of snow in winter, from December through February, often times March too. That was when I was a kid, a mere 20 years ago. Now? We get a couple of days of snow twice during that time and that's it. The rest of the time it stays around 10 degrees, but goes up to 20.... even more.... So no, I do not get sick of snow. I mean, I always liked it to begin with, but now that it becomes such a rare sight (and especially knowing why it does), I never can get enough. I miss it so much and I mourn that it's gone. I wish I lived as far to the north as you do.... Summer here is such a nightmare with temperatures staying consistently over 32-34 degrees for weeks.... I die.
I'm sick of the colder temperatures and the wind. We didn't get much snow from the previous Nor'easters in southern NY, but where my parents live in Vermont, they have over a foot, plus leftovers from the first Nor'easter. There's suppose to be another one next week, hitting mainly the New England coast along Massachusetts. It's March, I just want spring!
I moved and where I am does not get a lot of snow but when they do, the entire place shuts down, so I am tired of it haha. Not because there is a lot, but due to everything shutting down and I can't got anywhere because of a couple of inches of snow. I am used to several feet and keep going haha.
Here basically doesn't snow. Snowed just a bit in February 27th but nothing special... the snow didn't even remained in the ground. I can imagine that must be very annoying get a huge amount of snow always when it's cold...
Haven't had a LOT of snow this year. Had one storm that dropped a foot or so a couple weeks ago. Just been cold-ish. Supposed to be 65F in a couple days though. It's not unheard of for us to get most of our snow in March and April. I just hope it stays warm-ish and then sets in and rains all of the month of May.
i have to reschedule my delivery of my brand new gas range & fridge cause of the snowstorm tomorrow. not happy about that. i hope i get buried in snow to make it worth my wild! one good thing about it now, i'll be home to enjoy it!! bring it on!!!!!!
thats not going to happen. they are playing catch up from previous storms.. it will be Monday & Tuesday next week. U too my friend. stay safe... & if U happen to go bare footing in the snow, do that safely. theres not much traction being bare footed. don't want to slip & fall. U might break something! we don't need any tragedies before the holidays.... now go grab a box of tissues. no seriously, U need a box of tissues. watch this informal video. he talks about winter in New Hampshire. i'm sure the info will be useful for U too in Canada sense we both have the same weather conditions. he also knows a special tool to measure snow w/out going outside from the safety of your home... www.youtube.com/watch?v=selUoq…
ah... when we were kids, we loved the stuff. going sliding, building snow forts! always hated the fluffy stuff. couldn't build anything. now sense i'm old, i like the fluffy stuff. easier to shovel away. the wet & sticky stuff is only good for making the trees so pretty. but sucky for driving. U too.. be safe dear friend..
