What's sad is Vitani DID love Nuka and was upset when he died. Honestly, the only outsider that was evil IMO was Zira. And it's demonstrated by the 2nd movie when everybody defected over to Simba's side after Zira threatened to kill Vitani for wanting to defend the Pridelanders.
