Looking for a colorist! CLOSED

I'm looking for someone to help me with production of my comics, specifically a flat colorist. I'm finally at a place that I can pay someone. It won't be a fortune, but I'm going off the industry pricing according to the publisher I work with for children's book illustration. That means pay per page/image is best. (I'll discuss money with the one whom I choose later).

Keep in mind, it's not first-come-first-serve--I'm looking for quality. I want to keep the spirit of the comic intact but be able to go a bit faster in production. 

The requirements:

• Must know/use photoshop or a compatible program

• Have to be able to flat color four pages a month, plus a few extra images (like ads or parts for some of the other rewards)

• have good communication via discord, email, etc.

• Able to use paypal, square, or venmo for payment

  Pluses/not required but desirable:

• Can do a full page of flats in a hour or two (This is slightly faster than myself)

• Skills with backgrounds (Might ask for you to draw some based on your skills)

• Full coloring (Either in a style compatible with or matching mine)

• use dropbox for file handling (it's just easy from the desktop for me)

So the "test": 

Please download "multipage coloring test" and "pg 40 coloring test" and color the base colors. Both have linework (pg 40 has everything setup the way I'd send to a colorist). The goal is to make everything as neat and thorough as you can.

The mulitpage test has pages from the past, so you can reference them. You can find the finished pages on Patreon or ComicFury.

YOU ONLY NEED TO DO THE BASE COLORS, but you can do more if you want.

• Stay within the lines, of course

• Each character gets a new layer

• Each color on the character gets a new layer. (I like to use a clipping mask to group them, but if you have a better option go ahead.)

• You can use grayscale or use my swatches

• organize the files as well as you can

Experiments:

The other files are for experimentation. I might look for a background artist or ask you to do backgrounds based on your talents, so I want to see your skills. pg 29, 30, 39  Lines & Background has the refined sketch and thumbnail done. If you feel adventurous you can try your hand at lining my sketches. It's very unlikely I'll look for a lineartist in the future, but I might, especially for bonus comics or collabs! All of these have been posted, so you can check back to see references of color and backgrounds.

pg 43 hardmode Is just for fun! If you want to see what I go through each page, try it out. I usually do most of my lineart straight from the messy sketches in this page,unless I encounter a difficult pose. normally I wouldn't make a line artist go straight off of these. But if you want to try, go ahead! You can line, create backgrounds, and color if you want.

Bonus points for anyone who wants to try full color, backgrounds, or lines. It's not necessary because I'm picky about shading and lines. For full color, you don't have to shade, just get as close to my style as possible.
