What are the Swords of Caine? The Swords of Caine are an unusual set of vampiric swords rumored to have been made by Caine, the First Generation and the Father of All Vampires. Known as Kindred Blades or the Blades of the First City, these legendary swords have been sought out and fought over by Kindred and the Church for countless generations. Their exact age is unknown, but some Kindred Scholars believe the swords to have been forged during the time of the First City before the Biblical Flood. While they are called the Swords of Caine for practicality, not all were swords with one of them having been a scythe possibly and another a dagger rumored to open the Gates of Hell during the Final Nights of Gehenna. Another thing is that the respective blades themselves are named after other vampires besides Caine himself, something that Kindred Scholars have argued for a long time about whether these blades were once wielded by these vampires or if they had a certain connection to
