As unpredictable as the Doe Brothers have the reputation of, this day seemed as normal as any other. It was Tuesday, and on Tuesdays the brothers had a few special errands to run. Some errands were as simple as taking the trash to the landfill. Others were full grocery lists of special items the folks requested for the week. Alarms now sounding off, James and Arny peel open their eyes and slowly drag themselves out of bed, skip out on brushing teeth and heading straight for the bacon in the fridge on an autopilot path. The boys always wake their younger sister up with bacon and eggs, it's her favorite. Tying his hair back in a pony-tail James then throws his white apron on. He looks semi-professional and Arny cracks a joke, "Usin' Leana's hair pins again?" He says this almost every morning. If he doesn't say this, then something is usually wrong in the air. The Inner Child Runs Free

Focus bounces from place to place a tune playing in my head no headphones in just my mind replaying something on loop or playing it's own playlist of songs it's decided to roll through my head. A job list flickering between the focuses I'm suppose to be doing, ideas occasionally pinging across my mind like pop ups. Feelings, talking, external influence can really add extra load to this bubble I build yet I haven't noticed this bad since back when I was a kid. My focus whilst straining on myself is normally something that I can direct and control fairly accurately so what has fallen loose? Has the inner child broken free? I was thinking we were the same thing yet... An influence that feels more childish and impulsive from back then has resurged itself back to the surface. Thank god I'm done with school as I remember vividly telling my annoyed mother who'd asked why I'm only good at school that it was too hard to be good at home and at school. I can't imagine what I'd be like

Faction Brawl 2025 - WT - It belongs in a museum!

After shaking the rain from his fur, Orion turned and saw Rorin kneeling beside the darkest wall in the room. The droplets were still beading off his vest and forming small divots in the sandy soil that was collecting in piles along the walls of the alcove they’d sheltered in. Curious, Orion joined him and quickly realized what had caught Rorin’s attention so swiftly upon their entrance. They were not the first inhabitants of the Aqtuquaq to take shelter in the cave. Nestled in the dust and shadows, were the long decaying remains of baskets or fishing traps made from woven reeds and beside them sat small terracotta bowls, still stacked, waiting for their maker to return from the stream with water to wash them. Small shards of pottery littered the ground around the little bowls and as Rorin shifted on his heels, Orion saw several intact jars with their lids still affixed tightly in their openings. He stepped quickly around Rorin, and his foot scraped over something that clicked

Faction Brawl 2026 - KS - The Secret of Soul Pool

“You’ve come far since the last time you were here, through the smothering fog and scorching flames of many trials and tribulations. You carved a place for yourself in this turbulent world, one with foundations made sturdy through great effort and the support of those near to you. Why is it you struggle to find your footing now?” Orion turned around at the voice which echoed in every fiber of his being. The cold wind blew past him and down the tunnel that bore into the base of the mountains. What the voice had said was true, it had been many years since he’d stood in the shadow of those rugged peaks, and yet they were as familiar to him as the forest clearing he called home. Orion stepped off the snow covered ground and across the threshold of the mountain. The stone, worn by an age of wind and water, was smooth beneath his paws. Despite its northerly local, and the perpetual winter that lay across the forest beyond, the stone was warm and inviting. And why shouldn’t it be? He was

Faction Brawl 2025 - PL - Howling Up A Storm

The storm had been raging for days. In the Aqtuquaq, winter was rarely an entirely serene experience, but in Pilitak, it seemed more like a threat or a curse than a time of year. The gale force winds off the northern ocean were funneled by the great cliffs of the fjord that stood on either side of the small town, carrying with them all of Borga’s unmitigated anger. Snow, which had not yet fallen when Rorin and Orion had arrived, now lay heavily across the entire town, perpetually swirling and drifting like desert dunes in all the places where the brightly painted buildings did not provide what meager shelter they could against the onslaught. It was their first time seeing Coastal Pilitak in the heart of winter, and it would most likely be their last, seeing as this trip had not been entirely of their own making as it was. With the start of the new year came another year of faction brawling, and that meant that the Pack Leader faction, Rorin and Orion’s own, would be hosting the
