Chapter 1: Legacy

The land of Equestria was once ruled by two noble and fair sisters. The sun was raised every morning by the bright and bubbly Celestia, bringing warmth and light to the land. The moon would be raised every night by the shaded and solemn Luna, bringing peace and restful sleep to every colt and filly. The transition between day and night was known as twilight, and together the two sisters worked in harmony to bring stability to the lives of everypony across the world. Life was good in these times, and it seemed like the peace would never end. On a cool night like any other, Luna did her work in the minds of her subjects. Being the shepherd of dreams, she lulled her subjects off to a deep slumber by taking away their nightmares. This responsibility caused the fair princess a great deal of stress though, as she had her own nightmares to deal with. Unfortunately, hers were far more real than that of any other pony. The nightmares she experienced every night would gradually coalesce into a

Memoirs of World 74: A Tribal Wars Story Chap3

Before I get into the whirlwind. Let me paint a picture for fun. A little visual for anyone that’s never played. Though why anyone is still reading this that hasn’t I wouldn’t be able to guess. Tribal wars is divided into 100 square “Continents” K stands for continent. K44, K45, K54 and K55 are the center of the world or the inter core. It’s populated first and is generally the most chaotic place in the world. The next ring out which includes K34 where my story lies is the outer core. Not as crazy but still pretty violent. Anything father out is varying degrees of the Rim, where late joiners to the world and people that died in the core can respawn. GVD’s core of villages was located a bit north east of the center of K34. Though with k n o joining along with Midnight’s and my nobling a village each down not far from him, we had a little bit of force down there. We did however around this time lose a founding member of GVD. Not through war however. Feli had reached her goal of PP

After shaking the rain from his fur, Orion turned and saw Rorin kneeling beside the darkest wall in the room. The droplets were still beading off his vest and forming small divots in the sandy soil that was collecting in piles along the walls of the alcove they’d sheltered in. Curious, Orion joined him and quickly realized what had caught Rorin’s attention so swiftly upon their entrance. They were not the first inhabitants of the Aqtuquaq to take shelter in the cave. Nestled in the dust and shadows, were the long decaying remains of baskets or fishing traps made from woven reeds and beside them sat small terracotta bowls, still stacked, waiting for their maker to return from the stream with water to wash them. Small shards of pottery littered the ground around the little bowls and as Rorin shifted on his heels, Orion saw several intact jars with their lids still affixed tightly in their openings. He stepped quickly around Rorin, and his foot scraped over something that clicked

Why is it you struggle to find your footing now?” Orion turned around at the voice which echoed in every fiber of his being. The cold wind blew past him and down the tunnel that bore into the base of the mountains. What the voice had said was true, it had been many years since he’d stood in the shadow of those rugged peaks, and yet they were as familiar to him as the forest clearing he called home. Orion stepped off the snow covered ground and across the threshold of the mountain. The stone, worn by an age of wind and water, was smooth beneath his paws. Despite its northerly local, and the perpetual winter that lay across the forest beyond, the stone was warm and inviting. And why shouldn’t it be? He was

The storm had been raging for days. In the Aqtuquaq, winter was rarely an entirely serene experience, but in Pilitak, it seemed more like a threat or a curse than a time of year. The gale force winds off the northern ocean were funneled by the great cliffs of the fjord that stood on either side of the small town, carrying with them all of Borga’s unmitigated anger. Snow, which had not yet fallen when Rorin and Orion had arrived, now lay heavily across the entire town, perpetually swirling and drifting like desert dunes in all the places where the brightly painted buildings did not provide what meager shelter they could against the onslaught. It was their first time seeing Coastal Pilitak in the heart of winter, and it would most likely be their last, seeing as this trip had not been entirely of their own making as it was. With the start of the new year came another year of faction brawling, and that meant that the Pack Leader faction, Rorin and Orion’s own, would be hosting the
