Middle Image--9) Your Tokota is nearing the end of their quest to dominance and they make a final stop to visit an elder. They are instructed to make a journey to a sacred place where they can find spiritual waters; The Soul Pool, The Origin Spring, or The Oasis.
Drinking from these waters will reveal the animal most closely aligned to their soul, the Sea Lion.

Right Image--18) Humor is an art, and sometimes it's the only way out of a situation. Your Tokota has insulted one of the darker deities of Tokotna, and they are not satisfied by any sort of reasoning... In fact, their challenge to you is to make them laugh, for even gods grow bored! Depict your Tokota taking up this challenge either at face value or perhaps with a trick up their sleeve.

With Alpengiest being my ghost boy (somewhat based on Danny Phantom in personality) he got the Sea Lion, who aligns well with his humor and cunning. At Echo Park he used his quick thinking to get across the tar pits, where he saw the face of his pursuer--Varaska. The guardian of lost souls glared at him, boring into his soul. Perhaps he was trying to tell Alpen something? Maybe his nature between life and death is unnatural,and the spirit resents him for it? or maybe he was just checking on him. Alpen didn't get a chance to ask, for as soon as the sun fully rose, Varaska was gone.

At the Soul Pool, Alpengiest had no fear when approaching the waters, though he stayed reverent. This was a sacred place to all Tokota-kind. The glow of the pool beckoned him and he went to the waters edge to drink--only to slip in. A vision met him anyway, swirling around him in a multitude of colors. The light took shape of a playful sea lion.

Alpengiest had taken Borga's challenge to make him laugh with gusto. He'd often clash quip with quip against his enemies and rivals and he was confident in his ability to lighten the mood. The Storm Bringer itself had felt threatened by Alpengiest's powers of storms--his ability to cause havoc with icy gales and white-out snow was almost as powerful as the spirit himself. However, he wasn't one to get on the bad side of kindred spirit. Alpengiest entered Broga's Respite with confidence well earned, as not long after howls of windy laughter echoed out of the cave. He'd made an ally that day.
