Back from MegaCon! had an absolute blast!
Will post a report and some art in the next day or so.

in the meantime, i got tagged by ...so without further ado, i give you...a meme:

1.) my first fandom was little orphan annie. i was 5 years old. mom made me the dress and i wore it all the time, singing "tomorrow" at the top of my lungs. i was so mad my dad wouldn't let me get my hair cut and dyed orange. in retrospect, i'm glad he put his foot down.

2.) my hair wasn't curly when i was little and was very, very long!

3.) my hometown is named weiner. yes, i'm serious. no, i'm not making it up. get your snickering and laughter out now. heck, even my high school diploma says "weiner high school".

4.) my first pet was a cat i named poochie, after the little cartoon/toy that was out when i was small. yes, i know now that it's a dog's name. i was 5! lemme alone!

5.) all of my fingerprints are "the loop" pattern except for the middle finger on my left hand; it's a "whirl."

6.) my first car, a 1988 dodge omni, was named "squealer" because the belts always squealed.

7.) i no longer have a favorite color. thanks to art classes, i now have "current favorite shades of the moment". when i was little my fav color was blue, preferably sky blue or midnight blue.

8.) last year, i found over 10 four-leaf clovers without really trying. all i had to do was barely glance at a patch of clover and there it would be, staring at me...or it would it they had eyes anyway.
