Since the in-game model/art and Hyrule Historia artwork varied a little, I decided to fuse elements from all of them for this. It saves me from having to make multiple variations like with the swords from the first Legend of Zelda. :XD:

Okay, I freaking love this. The only, small, even nitpicky, yet still nagging problem that I have with this design, & even the original Phantom Sword's design in the game, was & still is, the fact that the hourglass in the handguard isn't the ACTUAL Phantom Hourglass. Rather, it's just an hourglass-shaped gem thing that seems meant to represent the Phantom Hourglass.

I always thought that it'd be such a cool little extra bit of detail if the handguard had the Phantom Hourglass as part of it. Now, I also think it'd be amazing if the handguard had a clockwork mechanism built into it attached to the Hourglass, turning it into 1 of those automatically rotating ones. Of course, it'd be powered by magic, so it'd be more like thaumaturgy, but I still think it'd be really cool.

… Am I putting too much thought into this?

//Anyone else noticed that this and the Lokomo sword resemble the Master Sword? And Skyward Sword confirmed that weapons style after the MS have a spirit...

When did skyward sword confirm that swords with a master sword style have a spirit?

Demise's sword and the Master Sword have a similar motif, so it's quite likely if not outright canon.

Well those 2 swords are similar but it doesn't mean every sword with that kind of design have it. The lokomo sword and the phantom sword don't seem to have spirits, and they have a similar motif to the master sword

That's right. When you can't call the Ghost Busters, it's time to use the phantom sword.

What is this woo and does one pitch it? :XD:
kitatora's avatar
:XD: Oh yes. This 'Woo' is a handheld explosive device, and it's perfect for blowing up 300 year-old stumps, enemy soldiers, and the annoying neighbour's Yorkshire Terrier. :3
BLUEamnesiac's avatar
:noes: Not the Terrier.
