Mogranos contest - RESULTS

I'm sorry to keep you guys waiting for these results. With 8 great entries to choose from, it was difficult for me to pick just three winners.

Before I announce the winners, I'd like to emphasize once more that I will not actually use the winner's design as is. The aim of the contest was for me to get inspired by your entries, to design Mogranos' armor myself. And you guys all helped greatly with this. You will be given credit for whatever aspects of your design I ended up using; even if you didn't win in this contest!

1st place


I can tell that a lot of effort and research went into this entry. There are some very cool design aspects here, and I look forward to working with them. I'm not too sure about the helmet's design, but the rest of it looks awesome! ^^

2nd place


I thought this was a very surprising design! It looks heavy and dangerous; perhaps a bit too heavy for Mogranos' taste. The helmet is also menacing. I think Mogranos would like to equip his elite guards with helmets like these. Scary. I love it! ^^

3rd place


This was a VERY close call for me. The other entries were so awesome too, but Rose's design was just so out there. It totally took me by surprise. There are aspects of the armor which make that Morgranos wouldn't be caught dead wearing it, but it's still clearly a dark lord's suit of armor. It's dark, but it's light-hearted. It just appeals to me...
