Sigil Winslet

The knight captain glanced at the failed assassin, making a mental checklist of features that aren’t commonly seen on people in that line of work.

Sigil noticed the spiky-haired man staring at her. “Hey, just what are you looking at, huh?” She asked.

“I was just taking note of some things about you that suggests that you might be lying about being a professional assassin.”

The woman’s eyes widened. She spun around; her ponytail lifting off of one shoulder, spinning through the air and landing on the other. “And just what do you mean by that, huh? Just what are you taking note of exactly?!”

“Your hair.” He said. “Female assassin’s usually keep their hair cut to shoulder length. Men are completely bald.” He explained. “It adds to the wind resistance otherwise.”

“Yeah, so?!” She cursed.

“And another thing. Assassin’s don’t normally go in for the kill -especially in a room full of armored knights- wearing the heavy cloak that you did. That, and the abnormal speed you were demonstrating back there tells me that you’re no assassin, but a Buffer. You had WindWalk cast the entire time you were in there, didn’t you?”

A new human character that I've been slowly piecing together over the last couple of months. Her name's Sigil Winslet, age 23, and she's a Buffer. Buffers are basically people who're capable of casting performance enhancing spells on themselves. They are but one class in the Magi tier.

I'm taking a bunch of ques from Brandon Sanderson's work in putting together the Magi classes. The world in which this story will take place in is going to be an amalgam of several elements lifted from all the RPGs I've played over the years, all of which I am carefully whittling down so that it all works together.
