Black and white acura (art project)

here's an art project I did of lilly!

my art teacher decided to give me creative freedom for an art project/assignment and so this is what I did

I took a photo of lilly, made it grayscale, and then painted it while also gluing newspaper into the grey areas of it, and I'm actually pretty satisfied with this!

I really do like the value and how the lights and darks are easily divided, it just looks so cool in such a blocky shaded style!

the detailing was hard but I eventually was able to manage lol
