Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Final project for Computer Graphics I: make a booklet with a theme of 10 things, using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. My theme is "10 Broadway Musicals". My first concept was to create an entire photomanipulation illustration in Photoshop for each musical representing a scene, and while my professor appreciated that I was thinking big, she advised that I just do a vignette of a character to go with each musical because I didn't have enough time to do something so complex.

So that's what I ended up doing: making a quick photomanipulation for each character in a frame, hanging on a wall, with a lyrics excerpt inside a vector border made in Illustrator.

The tenth and final page features Christine Daae, from Andrew Lloyd Webber'sThe Phantom of the Opera. This is the longest-running Broadway show in history and it's still going strong (and for good reason!). Though I've never seen it (yet), it's one of my favorite soundtracks. I even have the original cast recording with Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford on CASSETTE! Unfortunately, I've lost the CD--maybe I'll find it again when I clean my room...:shifty:

:star: Listen to the song here, sung by Sarah Brightman and Cliff Richard: All I Ask Of You
