Freddy Krueger

Freddy Krueger is the iconic, nightmare-stalking serial killer and primary antagonist from the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" horror film franchise, which began in 1984. A child murderer who was burned alive by the vengeful parents of Springwood, Freddy now exists in the dream world, where he can terrorize and kill teenagers, causing their deaths in reality. He is instantly recognizable by his burnt face, red and green striped sweater, fedora, and his infamous glove adorned with razor-sharp blades on the fingertips. The character is chillingly portrayed by Robert Englund in most of the films, solidifying his status as a horror icon.
