While they do have their disagreement's, mostly on humanity, Mothra deeply cares about Godzilla and always manages to put a smile on godzilla's face. Suko: When Kong first met Suko, it was the moment he realized that he was not the last of his kind. While the two got of to a rough start with Suko trying to get Kong killed, Kong was able to prove to Suko that he wasn't a threat and that he wanted to help him. After Suko saved Kong from Skar King's servents, Kong became grateful to Suko and put his full trust into him from then foward. After the battle in RIo, where Suko destroyed the crystal that Skar King used to control Shimo and after Skar King was defeated, Kong along with Suko and Shimo returned to the Hollow Earth where Kong became The Great Apes new King. Kong sees Suko as his own son and would protect him with his life, he also made suko his heir so Suko will be next in line as the leader of the The Great Apes. Shimo: When kong first saw Shimo when she was under Skar King's control and saw how much pain she was in, he immediately felt bad for her and wanted to free her along with The Great Apes that Skar King enslaved.

Shimo: After going out of his way to save her and the other great apes from Skar Kings tyranny, Shimo became forever grateful to Kong and stood by his side.
