Guide to Making an Oc
Some things you should know first:
First of all, this is a collab between me and UnderxmyxUmbrella (link in the discription).
Second: This is our view on this topic and we hope this helps anyone who uses it.
This is a guide to making an original OC (Original Character) that will help you to balance it well. If you follow these steps you will (hopefully) make a character that is not too 'awesome' and has almost no flaws (Mary Sue), or a character that is too boring.
There's a big difference between drawing/otherwise making a random person just because you wanted to draw/write/whatever something and a well developed character with both a history and a personality.
Please remember that this is just a guide. You don't have to exactly follow what it says, nor do you have to follow the steps in the given order, it's how I think it's most comfortable to work.
