So do you just super glue straps on the armour?

How durable is Worbla? I've been considering using it for LARP armor, but I'm not sure how much of a beating it can withstand.

Thanks for the awesome tutorial ^^ If I ever get my hands on Worbla I'll definitely try it some time. But I live in the Netherlands and they don't sell it here, so I have to use craft foam for my armor :(

You can buy it online! I bought it off of CosplaySupplies.com, if that's any help!

Not a problem! You should try it! It's a pretty intuitive material to use. When you get around to it, show me what you make! :D

You're very welcome! Fires-storm. Now my question is, can you use your firestorm to heat up your Worbla?
Fires-storm's avatar

Sadly no, it is a low heat fire, lol!

This is so absolutely amazing and helpful! Thank you so much for making this tutorial. I'm planning on making some armour with Worbla for the first time and this gives me a lot more confidence it'll turn out well. :D

Great! This was my first time using it too, and I can tell you that after the first piece or two of armor I made, the process of heating and working with the Worbla becomes really intuitive and easy. Good luck with your armor!

Where do you get your craft foam and peel and stick craft foam? I live in a very rural area so we don't have access to super neat craft stores. I've used insulation sheet but craft foam just seems like it would make my life wayyy easier!
