|getting better at drawing people! love the hair color on this one ^-^|
Hi there, I'm 17 with a passion for drawing :] I love animals, cats in particular (as you can probably see in my gallery), pokemon, reading, anime, music, and programming. I don't post much, but I do try! I love llama badges, and any comments are welcome if you have any questions/feedback. I don't bite! ^_^
Awesome Artists & People <3:
How long have you been on DeviantArt?
5 years apparently o_O woah it's been a long time!
What does your username mean?
It's a name inspired from the Warriors book series by Erin Hunter, which I absolutely adored while I was younger. Blizzardfoot is the name of my own cat character I made up from it I also go by 'Eleng555', which is a combination of my first and last names, and the 5's because it's in the middle of the numerical digits 0-9 and I always felt in the middle or a little average growing up ^^'
Describe yourself in three words.
Over-stresser, Loyal, Friendly
Are you left or right handed?
Right, but it would be so cool if I were ambidextrous D:<
What was your first deviation?
Apparently, really really terrible fan art for the artist Idess of mweor.com, a role-playing sim website I used to go on. Don't get me wrong, the lineart wasn't bad cause it wasn't by me, but I just colored it and still managed to screw it up xD my very first venture into digital (mouse) art e_e gotta love those preset photoshop grass brushes and terrible shading LOL //cringes so hard
What is your favourite type of art to create?
Digital! Because you can make stuff glowy and sparkly and pretty and it's sooo much easier to correct mistakes than traditional (which I need cause I make a ton of mistakes haha). Buuuut second favorite would have to be watercolor because mixing the paint is fun and you can do layers of colors and it just has such a home-y nice feel to it idk
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Either a really cute style or a slightly messy paint-y style. Very different, but cute because who doesn't love cute things? And paint-y because I've always been sort of a neat freak in art and subconsciously try to keep everything smooth and clean and softly blended but I think other artists' work that has a paint-y feel is just beautiful and it's a kind of organized mess.
What was your first favourite?
Apparently a deviation in storage xD but the next one in line was a stock photo of a cyan-toned moon. I believe I probably used it in a photomanipulation of some sort, likely for a layout on mweor.com ^^
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Uhhh it depends? I tend to just favorite a lot of my favorite artists' works, even if their subjects are widely varied xD But I suppose there's a high amount of art of animals, particularly cats/dogs/wolves in my favorites.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
Hard choice, I've been a long time fan of Apofiss's works (they're just so pretty <3), SilentReaper's StupidFox comics, and recently Shumijin's works. But I also love Griffsnuff and Capukat and Naida4 and Kiboku and ---- many more YOU CAN'T JUST MAKE ME PICK ONE THAT'S TOO HARD //sobs EVERYONE IS SO TALENTED
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
I would say probably because idk I met her so long ago and even though we haven't talked too much recently because of busyness with school and whatnot, I know we share a lot of the same interests (animals, drawing, musical instruments/music in general, drawing/painting/arts, interest in web design/programming, games I mean mweor/aywas/icyworlds, I think we have similar tastes XD), and she's just so dang talented and I imagine it would just be an amazing time <3
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
I can't just credit one person, but in general all of the people I've talked to and met and follow inspire me to improve myself and my artwork. I especially love when once in a while someone does one of those improvement meme things and I'm like "woah the difference between then and now is unreal, I wonder how my work from five years ago compares to now, compares to work I'll do in another five years"
What are your preferred tools to create art?
My beloved Wacom Bamboo Fun Tablet (it has never failed me and it's been like four years ), Paint Tool SAI, Photoshop CS6
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
Relaxing places like in nature (ie. a park) or a coffee shop or something, somewhere I can just let my creative juices flow (although I actually don't go to such places a lot xD I tend to just hide away in my room drawing at odd hours in the night when I can't sleep LOL)
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
Hmm, probably just commenting on my friends' deviations, and them commenting on mine and just having a good time ^^ One of my favorite things is to be able to have a conversation about someone's art and their style/technique and then deviating (haha so punny) to talking about what they drew, whether it's their cat, or an anime we both like, or the friend they drew art for, or the process of how they created the work.
