My intuos 3 spends more time in the box. Shits fucking useless for my type of work. If im getting into graphic design or layout and fading or merging stuff then its useful. I bought it to do work similar to yours and never took the initiative. IMO, your fucking talented as all get out, get a intuos or better, they have way more sensitivity levels and more precise. Bamboo, is for kids.

Well my WACOM Intous tablet pen tip is re-placeable...I'm not sure about the Bamboo pen though...I would think it is too.

Man that must suck. My pen came with spare nibs. Like 3 or 4 of them, I hope their still in the box  But I don`t draw that hard, maybe I`ll change mine when they wear off in a few years.

My Intuos 4 pen nib wears down really fast, unfortunately.

Happenned with my Intuos. Granted it was something like 8years down the line so, no complaints. Visit the site, figure out what nib you need, and order it. Once you actually recieve the damned thing (what a wait) hey it's a simple switch :)

I got halfway through the comments before I realized you were talking digital. I was just gonna suggest getting out a knife and carve a new point on that sucker.

<--- still uses bamboo reed pens and brushes instead of pixels.

I see you got a new nib, awesome. When I had a Graphire 3 a few years ago, the inside of my pen was apparently cracked, but I bought new nibs thinking that was the problem and ultimately it just turned out to be a waste of money. Then, instead of getting a new pen (which was kind of pricey), I bought a new tablet, an Intuos 3. Still have the Intuos 3 and I love it!

Yea I just found em on amazon... not too bad like 20-30 bucks. I guess its new pen time. my older one the pen fell apart, like the rubber melted or something and the buttons fell out. they must just build them with a self destruct feature after so many drawings

D: Wow i just bought the nibs the other day for 10 directly from wacom. these newer pens just don't stay together as you said. I got the new Intuos 4 and it doesn't have the regular wacom pens it's got it's own breed and im counting the seconds before i gotta shell out 50 bucks to replace it /:
