Okay, so this account is totally dead but SOMEDAY I'll try to be active on here again. This is just a short note to let everyone know that I'll be a guest at the upcoming Atlanta Supercon.
Here's a complete list of guests here:
I'll also be on the webcomic panel (Saturday at like, 4 pm, I think?)
Come out and see me if you can!
I'm planning on attending a convention this year (Anime Weekend Atlanta, to be exact) and I plan on wandering around aimlessly.
However, I'd like to have some small goodies to give away or sell.
I'm thinking: buttons/pins. Everyone likes those!
If anyone can recommend a good website/independent button-maker sorta thing, let me know!
Can you believe I haven't updated my journal since late 2005?!
Anyway. I'm looking to start up a webcomic within the next few weeks, which will hopefully be a long-term project (which I would like to publish sometime.)
I'd like to get contacted by anybody interested in co-writing, art editing (text, tones, or other stuff like that), website maintaining, and other such things. Mostly, a partner in crime.
Don't IM me with your full story about whatever. I wanna create something new-- not illustrate someone else's ideas.
Catch me on AIM if you're interested.
AIM name: BlinkyTheRed
PS: I'm interested in making something shoujo-ai o
I hate this time of the year.. it's officially Hell Week. I have way more assignments due this week than I can handle. I'm trying to keep juggling school and drawing, but school and crazy happenings in real life keep me from drawing much lately.
I don't expect that I'll be able to draw at all this week, but next week is Dead Week so I should hopefully get some sketches out for anybody that actually cares about my crap. And finals week will actually be surprisingly easy for me-- very few finals to worry about, tons of free time.
Maybe next semester I'll do a better job with this balancing act, eh?
It's 8:30 am and I haven't slept yet. ..
I got a free week-long subscription to DeviantArt! Cool! It makes things all weird and complicated, though I LOVE having thumbnails for my +watch stuff...
I wish I could have a subscription for longer.. *Siigh*
Yeah, so I haven't updated in like a million years. Last semester was terrible and I didn't draw at all over break, so I'm really rusty and I can't seem to get my groove back.
But, I'm confident that inspiration will come all at once and I'll be back in action with loads of improvement.
This semester will be so much better in so many ways, I'm ready to totally change my style and start producing something worth looking at every day.
Thanks to anybody who reads this and cheers me on mentally. :)
Tomorrow is so definitely my birthday. I'll be 18, whoaahh.. exciting! Everybody should draw me pretty things. Or give me a dollar. Or candy. Or something.. yeah..
Or whatever. :D But seriously, yay.
The new Tamagotchi Connections are fun..
ALRIGHT! The next Tokyopop contest has started so that means I'm focusing all of my efforts on my entry.
Unfortnately, that means there won't be many updates from now until the end of the contest. I'll try to update a few sketches and stuff to keep my site from completely dying, but I won't post any of the actual finished pages or anything.
At the very least, after the contest is over and I've lost, you'll have a new 15-20 page comic to look at. :) (With different characters though.. it's not a continuation or anything.) Or, by the off chance that I win, you guys can pick up a shiny print copy! But I'm not that cocky.. expect my comic
Wow, somebody wants to commission me for a sort of big project. I'm excited, it sounds reaallly fun so far. More on that, as it develops.
I guess I hadn't made it very clear that YES, I AM ACCEPTING COMMISSIONS. If I don't feel capable of what you ask of me I may turn down individual commissions but in general, yeah, I am! There's more information here >>
though my website is being uber slow, damn host.. I might just have to switch. Even if you can't get to the page, I think my prices are pretty low and if what you want doesn't really fit any of the categories I've priced, I'm reasonable and
Hey boys and girls!
I've been so busy lately, my classes are really taking their toll on me. Add to that my extra activities and you've got a mountain of stuff. I'm the president and founder of the anime/manga club, a Community Leader (sort of like a mini RA position), a Wing Representative for our student government association, the acting vice president of the gay/straight alliance on campus.. wheww. I've got lots of work cut out for me this semester, all of my classes suck so much!
Before I go work on calc2 homework, I should write a bit.
Losing the Tokyopop Rising Stars of Manga contest was a little discouraging, since I spent a who
Just heard from home a few hours ago.
I lost the tokyopop contest.
At least they were nice enough to send a letter.
I know my submission was crap but you always kind of wish for a miracle to happen anyway.
I guess I'll be posting my craptastic submission within the next few days.
