You will run the risk of having your work rejected, or even becoming banned from the group, if you do not follow these simple rules when submitting your work to us.
You are allowed to submit a maximum of 5 deviations per week to the group. This is more of a warning, as deviantART will not allow you to submit further deviations when this limit is reached.
This group is a show-case! We don't collect everything just because it was made in Blender. We appreciate quality over quantity, so don't let it surprise you if your work gets rejected. Self-moderation is vital when submitting your work.
Submissions must specify in the description that they were made with Blender, or in the case of multiple applications being used, what was Blender's role was in the process. We're a group that showcases what Blender can do, not what, for example, 3ds Max can do. Please make it easy for us to verify that your work was made in Blender, by mentioning its role in the description.
Submissions must be made to the proper galleries! Please carefully decide what gallery you would like your work to be shown in, as we will reject any submissions that have been submitted to an inappropriate gallery. Teacups and saucers are not characters!
No watchers-only deviations at all! Wewaste even more time in order to figure out if your submission fits in or not.
No crappy dA watermarks or any other that are extremely distracting and pollute the artwork! Chances that someone will profit from your art are slim and in case that happens, you should be flattered. Let go of your silly fears!
Avoid duplicate submissions. Please don't submit two similar deviations, such as a re-render from another angle. Choose the one render that you would like to have featured on our group. Remember, you can always link to other versions of the render in your description.
Gallery folders have descriptions of what work can be submitted to them, so if you are unsure where to submit, head to our galleries page and click on them to find out more!
Incoming group affiliations will only be consider if the group is mostly about CG art and has at least 50 members.
An exception to the previous rule is with deviations submitted to the Work In Progress gallery. You may submit multiple renders of the same subject to the WIP gallery, provided the time between each entry is long enough to justify significant progress has been made.
Hiya I’m Saya, I am an amateur artist creating intriguing imagery using various artist-tools. I like sharing my work with others.
I'm just having a Belnder-related question.
Of course, if you admin think it's not the place for this, then I'll apologize and desist.
I just can't think of a better place to find truly motivated artist who know their blender.
Anyone good with collection management and duplicating colection?I've got his nasty issue.
Thanks for accepting my request.
I'd just started to post stuff in DA for about >1 week now for tutorial related to Blender made stuff.
Hmm not sure how I can post it here to get feedback and moral support so that I know what kind of tutorial related Blender that interest people.
So here goes with my latest posting - a URL link to my Deviant posting. This is my 4th tutorial out a "6th part tutorial" around simulating "zombie crowd" in a maze garden and town square to support a music video I am making with a partner. I used "mixamo" models/motion but would love to work with "MMD models" if there are any related to zombie with motions (can't find any so far).
Also I am afraid my video tutorial - using words maybe boring and not so exciting, I am trying to supplement by provding free blender files to cover my short comings. Also I think this helps those maybe learning Blender like me and some ready made Blender files can help to follow tutorial more effectively.
I'm a beginner artist, been using Blender for about 3 weeks, Hopefully I can post some work here once my skills have improved! Looking forward to seeing all of your great work and to get some inspiration!
Looking forward to being an active member of this community!!!
And would my work qualify for this group?
Go for it!
I've picked it up today, even if not stable and been struggling big time initially to make the transition xD
Quite a lot of difference, especially in hotkeys/workflow, but I'll adapt. Just make sure you avoid the double struggle, lel
Go check out my deviant art and my other sites for more 3d stuff!
