I'm hoping to accomplish a few things this year.
- work on my 2D skills. Brush up and practice drawing more.
- keep a work journal of my art ideas all year.
- finish a set for doll photos that's fun to dress and easy to play with.
- buy a better camera for said photos.
- Rapunzel's tower doll house.
- finish up my armatures.
I don't think that's too much for the year? Anything I don't finish I'll just keep working on into the next year. :)
Anywhoo. Just want to keep myself accountable.
And it's Amaaaaaaaazing. But it's gonna be soooooo much work you almost quit before even considering it.
Yeah. I get those all the time.
Mostly, I choose to write them down in my art journal and save them for later, but I think this time I'm gonna make an art journal just for these ideas and call it my Compost Journal.
Throw all the crap from my brain in a pile and use it to fertilize my garden. ^_^
or just wonder how I'm gonna get the energy and funding and shelve it again. :/
I need to win the lottery, man. /le sigh
Hello my lovelies.
I have *so many* dolls to add I'm a bit overwhelmed! D: I'll be chomping through my backlog for a while I think. *sigh*
So, in the meantime, here's a couple previews. ^___^
Also, I've realized that I have absolutely ZERO new goblins up here. D: D: D; I've made approximately 40 of them, so I can see how they never made it to DA. It's crazypants.
Happy Hallowe'en! I'm having a sale on everything in my Etsy shop! Prices are marked at 50% off until Monday Nov 1st, so if you've ever wanted one of my creatures now would be an excellent time to snatch one up. ^___^
There are a few Imps, a whole lot of Birdthings, the White Rider and a handful of Hunters left who are looking for lovely homes. ^__^ They make lovely holiday gifts too! ♥
Here be Custom Creatures from an Artist in Need.
As many of you know, I'll be moving 2,000 miles across the country in a week. This is a fabulous opportunity for me and I'm grabbing it with both hands. It's a *huge* leap y'all, and I've spent the past few months trying my best to make things happen as smoothly as possible. This is also the first time I've made a long distance move all by myself and it's more than a little scary and I'm doing my best to make things work.
Unfortunately, I've recently had a couple setbacks and my moving funds are not as much as they need to be, infact they are quite a bit less and I'm seriously freaking out
