Epilogue Southfort Precinct, 11:20 pm. The cool evening breeze tossed the leaves fallen from the garden outside the precinct entrance across the parking lot, the numerous blue and white Dodge Chargers and Ford Explorer’s now replacing most of the aging Crown Victorias. The two carved insignia’s of the CVPD beside the main entrance were illuminated in white floodlights as was the banner above the doorway reading Southfort Police Station. The forgotten side of the Dunkirk evacuation
It was on this day in 1940 that the last evacuations of British troops from the shores of Dunkirk took place. Operation Dynamo is often seen as a great British success, the "Miracle of Dunkirk" as it was known, referring to the unprecedented success of the evacuation that saw more than 300,000 men escape capture. What is often forgotten about this event is the extraordinary heroism and sacrifice of the rearguard consisting of mainly French troops and some British units who held their ground against overwhelming odds, buying precious time for the evacuation of as many men as possible. 2019 Writing Plans (Updated)
So we have been in 2019 for four days now. I really needed a break after finally finishing 'On Duty Contact' and I'm not really ready to get back into writing just yet, but here are my ideas. I said previously that I've been overcome by a huge wave of Spyro nostalgia and how it has made me want to get back into Spyro fanfiction. Well, that is still very much true so my next big project will be a story based on the Legend of Spyro trilogy but as previously stated it will be a reimagining rather than a continuation or spin off.
