PAYLOAD: Typhon

One of several Daedalus ACE designs to hit the open market, the Typhon showcases the company’s dedication to enormous firepower in enormous quantities. Reviving the torso-mounted weaponry of the generations-old Tosenpanzer, the T-20 Typhon was intended to be a mobile artillery ACE, using its firepower both in defense of Daedalus installations and on retaliatory raids.

Though advances in technology meant the Typhon fared better than its long-ago ancestor, it still had its faults, including a hefty price tag for a mid-weight ACE. Its central weapon mount also retains the Tosenpanzer’s unfortunate tendency towards knocking the ACE over, meaning it must remain braced while firing. Fortunately, Daedalus’s “entrencher” outriggers provide a much more efficient brace than most medium ACEs enjoy, mitigating this inconvenience.

Normally the torso weapon slot would be vacant, but the above image shows a average-sized rail rifle mounted there for the consumers' sake.
