Thanks to a certain SOMEONE
on here I've had the idea of an Astronautical fighting game running through my mind for over two weeks now... That's where this comes in!
ASTRONAUTICAL SCUFFLE SHUFFLE 3!!!
The third game in the series (not really haha), expanding upon the past titles with new stages, ways of playing, finishing moves, and of course, the character roster. Whereas the first game had only 33 playable characters, and ASS II (oh gosh I literally just now realized the acronym spells that!) had 66, this one boasts a massive roster of 69
unique playable characters!
I'll spare you me listing the entire roster, but the characters that are visible within this image are!!!! Ace, Sharon Suave, Cephie
(naturally she is playable in both her Cephaloid and her human form, also all characters have multiple color pallets to choose from and in some cases alternate costumes), Tracie, Princess Squish
(her dress on this poster is supposed to be a nod toward Ryu from Street Fighter!) Molly, Queenie, Snail, Sacha Babochka, the still unnamed uberbug that nobody on DA knows about yet haha, Prawn Mambo, Captain Cici, Finn Flynn, Buzz, Lobstar, Princess Crush, Princess Raze & Ruin
(the two are a duo that count as one fighter), Horshu, Scyllus, Porpo Cetei, Cindy, Natalie, Drago, an Isotex
(he's an interesting fighter, for he's technically three in one; his default is a generic Isotex that you can change the color of the mech of, but he also has he option to be set to Tex and the still unnamed Isotex bounty hunter yet to be shown on DA and all three have unique attacks, in essence tweaked clone characters), the Baby Remorod Carcosmodon, G.L.O.B., Oil Slick Monster, an Angore grunt, someone whose name and role I still shall not disclose but I usually refer to him as “Psychic Cephaloid” here on DA, NOVA, Rachel Mallory, aaaaaaaand LEGIUS!!!
Like I said before each character is unique and plays wholly differently from one another, each character also has three distinct finishing moves, in addition to that each character boasts over one hundred voice clips each due to the fact that every character has differing quips depending on the character you pit them against! Yeah, you can tell I've really put a lot more thought into this game than I probably should have haha! XD Given it'll never actually get made that's kind of a downer, but hell I can play it in my head at least! There is however a little idea I've cooked up regarding this hypothetical game, and it goes hand in hand with attuning my animating skills, so expect some sketchy character attack, openings, and taunt animations stuff like that randomly every once in a while!! I'm so happy I took on making this, to be honest it's really REALLY helped me visualize almost all my characters and how they move/behave in my head even more than ever, I guess Seraph was right in Matrix Reloaded when he said "You do not truly know someone until you fight them".
Thanks for looking!! Who do you think you would main?
