This mostly echoes what others are saying, but to clarify a bit...
A Thunderbolt cable is just a fancy Mini Display port. So get yourself (to mars... and...) a DVI to Mini Display Port adapter. There are adapters you can use for HDMI to DVI/VGA, but DVI to Mini Display port will get you the best picture. This is what I use for my Cintiq 22HD.
Someday I hope Wacom just has everything running through Thunderbolt (OR USB3), so you can skip the USB and plug one cable in. It can totally do that.
