Description
So I'm impatiently waiting for my BJD to get here (that's Ball Joint Doll, if you don't know,) and of course they haven't even shipped him out. I don't think they've even made him yet, and he's coming all the way from... er... Hong Kong? Korea? I think Hong Kong. Anyhow, from Asia, in any case, so it's going to be weeks before he comes. But I am impatient! I can't start making his other costume stuff until he gets here, because I want it to fit, so I want to measure him myself. But the wings will fit anyhow, so I made him wings!
They have a few small design flaws, so they're Mark I wings, eventually there will be Mark II. They're nice and big too! 4.5 foot (137 cm) wingspan, which means that if you scaled them up to human size, they'd be 13.5 feet! Which is about the right size for Aidan, so that's good. Heck, they're bigger than many costume wings meant for humans. I'm very pleased with 'em. Am thinking about making similar to sell, but it's hard to know how to price them. The materials are cheap, they're actually kind of ghetto, but they take a loooooooong time to make, and a lot of work.
