Horn Lake: Medallion (7x5 feet)

This is something that vaguely represents the shock and bewilderment I felt when I held my father's ashes a few months back. They were heavy, and accounted for his physical existence and conveyed a new stage in his legacy on earth. This would describe the doorway like image here in the painting. I grow anxious from the transition from existence to dirt, and the in the between moment of panic or serenity before you take your last breath.
