This information is regarding Thoroughbreds.
For Hanoverian and KWPN there are slight changes see the bottom of this journal for information as to what differs.
To Use any slots bought after 21.01.16 please read through and agree to these rules by signing in the comments below.
Breeding Seasons
Most breeding slots will only be available during the following times* .
Not all horses will have slots available.
Garanteed Breeding seasons
- Winter season Jan 31st - Feb 14th
- Summer season Jul 31st - Aug 14th
Optional Breeding Seasons
- Spring season Apr 30th - May 14th
- Autumn season October 31st - Dec 14th
* if you are interested in a slot outside these times feel free to note me but I cannot guarantee the horse would be available.
* Some special slot sales may be held outside these times.
Price & Payment
Most breeding slots will be available for art in the form of a training picture/s with background but some will only be available for points
Points/USD payments should be sent through within 48 hrs
Mate Approval
Once you have purchased your slot and have found a mate, please send me a note titled “mate approval” with a link to the intended mate.
Mates must be pure thoroughbred (some cases I will allow crosses but we can discuss it via note)
May not be Dun,Pangare, champagne, silver or tobiano.
You may not breed my Dominant white or Overo horses to horses that are also Dominant white or Overo
Breeding image
Breedings are carried out via live cover (unless otherwise stated)
Breeding image is a must and should be a full body image depicting the mare and the stallion with a background. ( it is up to you whether you want to draw them meeting, standing beside each other, in the act of mating or something else )
Foal
Feel free to choose the geno & colour of the foal although it must be genetically possible. If you need help with working out the geno and possible colours feel free to send me a note.
You are welcome to design the foal, if you want me to design the foal (I'm more than happy to) or want to check the design you have done is correct then again send me a note
I must receive an unrestricted slot to the foal
No twins unless we have discussed it and made arrangements.
If both the sire and the dam are from Blacktyde-Stables the foal must have the prefix BTs
If breeding to one of my stallions please incorporate an aspect of his name into the foal's name for example. If you bought a slot to Blackbeard Got Some Ink you could name your foal something along the lines of

Once you have decided on a name for the horse it must not be changed (including the prefix of BTs) this is so that I can keep track of my hoses offspring.
If you are planning on selling the foal please let me know, i might be interested in buying it but if not i just need to keep track of where it’s going.
Please register the foals with Thoroughbred-Society and TheJockeyClub.
Hanoverian
Differences in mate approval requirements.
Breed - Hanoverian - in some cases Thoroughbreds will be allowed
Acceptable colours
- Hanoverian Accepted Colours - Black, Bay (any shade including wild bay and seal bay), Chestnut/ Flaxen chestnut, Grey
- Thoroughbred Accepted Colours - - Bay, Black, Chestnut, Grey, Sabino, Splash, Flaxen, Roan, Creme genes.
Differences in foal requirements.
- If breeding to one of my stallions the foals name must begin with the same letter as the stallions name. (the name of the foal does not have to relate to the stallions name)
- Please register foals to Hano-Association and H-I-E-F
KWPN
Differences in mate approval requirements.
Breed - Open to KWPN's, Thoroughbreds and other warmbloods.
