Just wanted to give a HUGE thank you to everyone that has added me to their Deviantwatch!  I've now reached over 100 watchers and it humbles me greatly that you all love my work and want to continue to see any future creations that i do.  I hope to not disappoint.

That's it, short and sweet which I am neither. lol   &

Assault Over

Journal Entry: Thu May 26, 2016, 1:38 AM

Thanks to everyone for being patient with my mass uploading of  old artwork.  There were a few others I was going to add but decided to not do that, don't need to have everything out there.   I also didn't mean for anyone to feel the need to comment on them since they are basically relics. heh  But if you did, thank you so much!

It really is a great honor to be building so many friendships.  I'm finally starting to feel like I found a community of fellow artists and enthusiasts.  My hope is to continue to build upon that.

All the best,

Mel

Warning!! Incoming Wayback Assault!

Journal Entry: Wed May 25, 2016, 3:24 AM

Today I have a couple of dental appointments so not much time to sit down and work on my 3dmodeling.  However, I did gather up some of my oldies that were created anywhere from 2004-2010.  I do feel they have a place in my galleries, even if buried in a semi-hidden folder.  So I DO apologize for the incoming explosion of old artwork than some of you may have seen many years ago.  No worries though, as I do have a new art piece to share soon,  as it's waiting it's turn in Photoshop.

You will notice that a lot of my oder artwork was either traditional pencil/color pencil or a LOT of digtial painting on top of 3d renders or even the use of Vue.  I will try and remark on what is what (if I remember heh)

So I must thank you for being patient with this and all the support you have given/shown me.  You'll never really know how much I DO appreciate it.

Hiatus

Journal Entry: Sun May 22, 2016, 2:38 AM

Not that I generally write many blogs, though I do enjoy it from time to time.  I figured my upcoming ...somewhat "Hiatus" warranted a small journal entry.

Where I am at this time is a journey and at times that journey gets sidetracked (too much so).  I've been learning 3d modeling for a bit, but somehow end up creating art more than creating 3d models.  Both are obviously a passion, but at this point i need to concentrate more on the 3d modeling aspect of things.  Not that I will stop creating personal art, but it will be few and far between until my 3d creations get better with more understanding.

A hint of things to come is like a domino effect and if you get that then maybe you will find me in the far recesses of the digital universe.  Cryptic? Yes.  But for those that do follow that effect, (like finding Waldo) will be rewarded with the Golden Domino.  A challenge? If you like. :)

Dorothy followed the yellow brick road, why can't I?

Simply Said

Journal Entry: Thu Oct 8, 2015, 1:30 AM

I'm not much of a journal writer, I've tried and failed miserably.  Part of me feels it's too self-serving and honestly unless you're famous amongst the community or life in general, no one really cares. Truth

So the only thing to really say to those that stumble amongst my little part of the cyber-world is.....that I love art.  I put my hand in way too many things, but that's ok, it's a part of me.

I'm aging quickly but I truly believe that you are never to old to follow your dreams and continue to create till your dying breath.  So that is what I shall do and appreciate those that visit and follow me on any journey I decide to take.

Be kind, be you.....Dream
