James Cameron is hoping to make an Avatar 4 and 5 if the box office for Fire and Ash (which I did see today) does well. I was kinda aware that he did plan an Avatar 4 since 2012, only three years after his first one.
Let's see. One of his sequels is called "Way of the Water", and another is "Fire and Ash". I'm guessing 4 and 5 will have "Earth" and "Air" in their names.
I also heard he is thinking about doing 6 and 7 too. Might as well do 8, that way the sequels can have "Spirits", "Change" and "Balance".
In fact, James Cameron says his kids prefer one type of Avatar over another.
