Joker Black and White 4 by BLACKPLAGUE1348 Joker Black and White 4 by BLACKPLAGUE1348
Companion piece to my Black and White Bermejo Batman, also 7" scale originally sculpted in castilene and the pistol in styrene plastic , painted Sandy Shaffer. Bermejo's drawings are amazing in there detail particularly in his handling of drapery. I wanted his coat tails to relate to Batman's cape in feel and volume . Face detail. The Joker has a certain classic look; Bermejo's drawings convey a combo of that look with more contemporary versions.

Love a man with a rictus grin. ~_^   M'best friend found one of these guys on eBay but was unable to get him, as he was over 250.00! He knows how much I adore this sculpture of yours and wanted to surprise me for Christmas, but alas, his pocket was not deep enough.  The thought was a wonderfully kind gesture though!

It just goes to show you how epic your work really is, Jean! This piece is near unattainable now! 0.0  I fear this handsome devil is going to elude my collection forever! =(

Again though, it goes to show how wonderfully talented of a sculptor you are! Such flow and motion... and don't even get me started on the details...

This is just beyond amazing. How long do sculptures like this generally take?

every time i look at this i see a new detail i didnt see before!
i love the colours you used, it really looks like it steped out of a dark filtered movie into life.
i really like the less flamboyant look you have for the joker, focusing more on his sinister side.
