The M3con was a huge success. IMHO, this was better than
last year. :] Totalling to 9 group cosplay skits and 125
individual cosplayers, the costumes of these cosplayers
just get better and better. You can see new and interesting
gimmicks performed to us by these bunch~ Anyway, if you,
guys, have pics of the winners of the cosplay contest, please
let me know. I would be more than happy to feature them
here! :] Congratz to the organizers, staff, cosplayers, bands,
exhibitors, etc for a job well done!

Due to my responsibilities, there was only little time left for
me to hang out with my friends at my booth. D:

Another thing that surprised me was the tremendous amount of
security guards assigned to mt. There were always at least 4
bouncers around my vicinity. :c Actually, I found it too much.
This system was all new to me and would like to apologize to
the people who were shoved away by these bouncers. I wanted
to say  sorry to every one because I think they might have gotten
hurt or something. This problem pushed me to complain more
than thrice at the back stage (right, louanne, marcelle, saber,
etc etc?) to the organizers and staff.

I told them that I would be fine without them..or maybe just one to lead the way.
But all of them insisted that they are needed because they will be held liable if ever
something happens to me. According to one of the bouncers "Wala kami budjet kung may
mangyari sa yo" (We don't have a budget if something bad happens to you.) So from there,
I understood why they were concerned. It's for security purposes. And that's their job.
They were trained to do that. But there, I really want to apologize to the victims of the
path they made. They are actually nice people. Got to talk with them and even had a pic
with them just before leaving the place. :3

So before you think that I didn't do anything about it, I really really tried my best not to
have those body guards around. D: I was not completely ignorant of what was happening
and tried to talk it over with the organizers and staff but in the end, it was their call
because it's their event.

It's kinda sad that I wasn't able to go around the convention. While hastily cutting
through the crowd, a lot of toys caught my eye. Then I said to my self.. "Omg, figurines~
*does "D: face*" Sob~ T_T Hopefully, I could go around the next convention, Toy Con,
though, and find my next dream figurine. (But then again, I have responsibilities in that
con as well.) I can't say who that figurine is yet because I am cosplaying as her on the
second day of the Toy Convention. So far, Wasabi Toys and 2rats don't have her yet.
I already inquired. D: Oh well... If all else fails, I shall have to resort to online resources.^.^



And yes, before I forget, thank you to everyone who purchased our prints, the ones
who helped us out at the booth and mangaholix for giving us the booth!~ *hugs*
We'll be having new prints and more apparel for the ToyCon!

"Game Girl" Contest on the 2nd day (June 15). Click here for the official Cosplay
Contest and Game Girl rules. The "Meet and Greet", part of the official program on
the 2nd day(June 15), will last about 2 hours. There will be other special
guests there as well!

And yah, we'll be having a booth there, Alodia's Edge, on both days care of Raymond
of CSCntrl. We are assigned to Booth #3(floor plan) and we'll be selling prints,
mini gothic lolita top hats, pins, etc there. There might also be a little spot for photo ops.
