Exodus Contract Vindego rough concept by BlackHawk45LC Exodus Contract Vindego rough concept by BlackHawk45LC
Thanks so much to joshuakrause.deviantart.com/ for all the help with this Native American legend inspired creature.

When the people turn to cannibalism just to survive the cruel occupation of the invading darkness, the Vindego are born.  Who can stop them?

think more like lightning strike fast. this is too chupacabra... it should look very ghoulish. and more manlike than creature think zombie apparition/shadow/superspeed/masters of jumpscares.

I was imagining them very fast.  With an eerie glow where their entrails should be, that instantly burns away what they devour, so they never feel full.  For the overall form, I imagined what visual guilt would look like, like their very form was being crushed with the guilt that created them.  I imagine them jumping great distances, and subduing their victims.  I imagine they would swing their heads in battle and fight very boar like with their tusks, and a horrible grinding sound as they constantly sharpen their tusks on the sharpening teeth on their upper jaw.

Awkwardly, almost rickety, but surprising power and speed.  I'm sort of thinking rather than the offender being turned into this, they just happen after the act of cannibalism (like cannibalism is a ritual that will summon these demons whether intentional or not). I like the idea of the offender experiencing the anguish of this creature's existence rather than being the creature.  Also, just incase I didn't capture the sense of scale, I imagine this thing to be around 8 ft tall, even taller if it could straighten itself up.
