Entry LIV The night air is cold and the wind howls outside our sparse tents. It's the night after our battle with Cezare's army and, honestly, we wouldn't have made it if our brothers from Aedui didn't come to our aid. Some of their soldiers are still with us as escorts, while most of them returned with their commander and chieftain. We, the Helvetii tribe, were supposed to migrate west and meet with the other Celtic tribes to form an opposition to the Cisalpine regime and their, Cezare's, army. 05 Up until right before dusk, I bought, traded and collected books and stories before returning in my condemned place. Among the countless books, notes and scrolls I acquired were a new set of clothes. I wanted to book nice when I go to the Banquet. It was a kind of formal wear more wealthy people would have, with straight pants, a plain linen jacket over a matching collar shirt and shiny shoes. I think that would be enough to look like a respectable person without standing out too much. I also sew a new inner pocket by my right chest, big enough to fit a certain black book. I appeared in certain village that, according to the Cloud King,

03 The Banquet won’t be held until the second Night from now on, so I should have enough time to search for interesting stories. But before that, there are some places I want to visit first. The Bards are holding a get-together in the Melody Clearing that I want to attend. Unlike me, the Bards are singing their tales and stories while playing their music instrument they carry with them on their travels. Anyway, the Bards on their get-together will tell and sing about their own tales that they have acquired during their yearlong journeys. As a story collector, I can’t miss this out. The problem here is that only Bards are allowed

Freedom's Chains (part 1)

01 My annual ‘Freedom Week’ had begun and like always I went down to the nearest place populated by intelligent beings. From then on, I kept travelling through various cities, villages and any form of settlement to sell and search for interesting scripts, books, comics and novels, whatever I would find, from different countries. I also would note down any talk, gossip, legend or rumor that catches my interest. It would be appropriate to make introductions, but I cannot. I have no name or identity that I could introduce. Despite my appearance, I’m not even really human or something living at all. An odd Existance. An Echo o

Got tagged by ~Scintillant-H (https://www.deviantart.com/scintillant-h) Scintillant-H (https://www.deviantart.com/scintillant-h) and thought "....................why not?" These are 10 things I've never done that others commonly have, there are also rules, but as Scintillant-H so kindly put it: "SCREW RULES" 1) I've never smoked 2) I've never got drunk 3) I've never gone to a concert. Ever. I like the music I listen to, not the band/singer 4) I've never gone outside Europe. Hell, the only places I ever went to for holiday longer than a day was Greece. 5) I've never liked coffee. Tasted it once. Sticked to cacao and hot chocolate. 6) I've never partied. Was forced to go to some. Always played the role of the wallfl

Solitude is bad?

Solitude is bad?

Last night after classes, I met up with a friend I haven't seen for over a month. We went for a walk and talked a bit over meaningless stuff and fooled around with words, but for half the time we were pretty much quiet. Long story short, you could say we wasted our time. At one point (near the end of our walk), following the current conversation at that time, I nonchalantly told her what I could be doing in my life: move out, find a job, live modestly and maybe make a breakthrough as a writer. Finding a life partner was secondary to me, no, I haven't even give any thought about it. That's where she got mad at me. Saying things like I can't

Empty shell, void of fun...

Last time I wrote a journal was for Christmas, 2 years ago. It's not that I hadn't had any time because of university, quite contrary. It's just that I never knew what I should write ._. Since December me being productive was little to non-existent. I drew some stuff with background (it wasn't so bad like I remember) and I wrote a story... and there's where I'm losing motivation. I've shared that story in a dA group, through Skype, to a friend and on various groups in Facebook, where I thought that people would read it, with the plea to criticize it to their best ability, without sugar-coating. Nothing. It's disheartening to see the view cou

Hello my friend. How is Alucard ?

Alucard might be drinking now.

It has been a while my friend. How are you ?
Sure has been. I've been, and still am, quite busy. Mostly with school stuff. It's mentally exhausting.
