One of my classes, Design Principles, has a cintiq at each computer station! Soooooo exciting! I got to touch one! Super cool!
Alrighty guys, I'm trying my hand at calligraphy - but I have no idea what I'm doing. >.<
Which way do I hold the pen. What the heck are all those different pen nibs? How many different types are there, and why/how are they used differently? I just bought a pen yesterday and it came with a bunch of different nibs, and they look different but . . . why? . . .
Anyone have any useful tips?
So I'm an art student, right. 2 years ago, fresh out of high school, I applied to illustration at Sheridan college. It required a portfolio to gain acceptance. So I submitted one, and a month later I received a grade sheet telling me how I failed miserably. Like, abominably. I think, if I remember correctly, I got about 23/100. Ha haha . . . ha . . .
