Llama Badges

Journal Entry: Tue Mar 6, 2018, 2:07 AM

"Please, Please, no more Llama's (badges), I can't feed them anymore, they smell they leave loads of mess and they are bloody noisy and keep me up most of the night, I'm not getting the sleep I need to function properly. I appreciate the thought but they started off a few years ago as an April fools joke that's got out of hand!

I will not reply to or thank anyone who keeps palming me off with their unwanted creatures" :( (Sad)

Anime

Journal Entry: Tue Dec 26, 2017, 1:57 PM
I have been an Anime Fan for many years, in the early years I have created anime style characters using Bel Bel and AnimeDoll in Poser but became disillusioned with them and now that my software is solely Daz Studio I looked for base characters that would take their place but I was not satisfied with what there was, until now!
In my opinion Daz Productions new character "Sakura 8" is built off Genesis 8 Female base is what I was waiting for, so I succumbed to temptation and purchased her with additional  characters and cloths came with her although all G8F and G3F cloths will fit with no problem.

So I hope you'll welcome her as you have with my other characters :D
Thank you all

Pride In My Work 2

Journal Entry: Tue Oct 24, 2017, 3:26 AM
Thanks to DA for introducing The Pride Flag!!!
Yes I am proud of what I create , the hard work and long hours with each creation as well as brain racking to try and come up with something new.  I think it's worth it for all the Faves I get from across the world although it would be nice to get more comments :)
I always appreciate the comments and Faves and will always thank you for the Faves .   I also get invited to join Groups especially the Tomb Raider groups which pleases me as I'm a big fan of Lara Croft and I do my best to create some believable scenes :)

I have recently joined
www.renderhub.com/galleries  to exhibit  some of my better work, but are the same as in my galleries!

Once again I would like to thank all my friends and Watchers for their continued support

Pride in my Work

Journal Entry: Tue Jun 13, 2017, 3:53 AM
Thanks to DA for introducing The Pride Flag!!!
Yes I am proud of what I create , the hard work and long hours with each creation as well as brain racking to try and come up with something new. I don't do this for profit, in fact, it sometimes costs me quite a bit of cash for new models and modules, but I think it's worth it for all the Faves I get from across the world although it would be nice to get more comments :)
I always appreciate the comments and Faves and will always thank you for the Faves . Once again I would like to thank all my friends and Watchers for their continued support

Faves and Comments..

Journal Entry: Sun Jan 22, 2017, 3:36 AM
Hi Guys, I very seldom create lots of journal entries, but this I feel I need to write!
Over the past 9 years I've collected over 63000 page views  Thank you all. Over this time I found that when I reply to comments it is added to the Comment Count which does not give me a true number of comments at a glance, So I've decided not to reply to any of the comments unless a question is asked (would prefer a note) about the image to which I will reply when I can. I will always reply to a fave I feel that it is only fair as you have  spent time to view the image, it may take a time, but I will reply, I appreciate the faves very much
There are many great artist at DA far, far better than me, I very seldom Fave or comment on images from other artists as I feel that many of the images produced are very much the same nothing really different or inventive if I do find any image that I like a lot I will definitely add it to my Favourites and add a comment and I feel that it will be the same with all my watchers and friends, I try to keep the interest going by producing various types of images, Scifi, Pinup, Steam/Cyberpunk and what else I can think of, I do not post many images as it can take a very long time to create an image and to render it to a good quality that I'm satisfied with, I'm always looking for ways to improve my work!
Having said all this I will always appreciate comments :)
Lastly...

Well here we are almost a month into 2017, Many changes are happening here in the UK and in USA lets hope it is for the better!
I now have over 61000 page views, its taken over 9 years to achieve but I'm very grateful to everyone who is watching me and adding my images to their Favourites. I create many different images Pinups, Sci Fi, Steampunk and Cyberpunk all when the mood takes me. I am well into Daz Studio 4.9 Pro with Iray so all of my work is created with this system.

Once again I thank each and everyone of you for supporting me

                                                BUT!!

Please, Please, no more Llama's, I can't feed them anymore, they smell they leave loads of mess and they are bloody noisy and keep me up most of the night, I'm not getting the sleep I need to function properly. I appreciate the thought but they started off a few years ago as an April fools joke that's got out of hand!
i will not reply to or thank anyone who keeps palming me off with their unwanted creatures :(
Here's wishing all my Friends and Watchers Happy Holidays and all the very best for 2017
Thank you all for your support, hoping you will continue to support me in the coming year

I have been with Deviantart for 9 years now and have made very many friends and watchers over this period about 300 all over the world, fantastic, and even lost a couple of lovely artists through illness which still saddens me!

I have recently had problems updating my core membership, this I thnk, has happened to a few members of DA, because of this I made a big decision not to become core member at this point although the advertising is a pain in the ass but will put up with it at the moment!!!

I created and published my Website which was quite involved nobody bothered to visit so I have now cancelled it and it will be removed! So I'm still publishing my Artwork here at DA as I am now very established, even picking up more watchers and friends.
Great Stuff  :)

New Technology

Tue Jun 16, 2015, 11:17 PM

It's been a long time since my last journal, I am writing this one in favour of Daz Studio 4.8 pro (Iray) this I'm now using for all my renders, as I have a Nvidia graphics card I'm making full use of it for Iray renders and not for gaming as it was designed.
in the past I've been using Reality/Lux for my renders, but although it produces great results it can take forever to complete in some cases 24 hours where the average render time with Iraydium is approximately 50 minutes or less, okay the finished product isn't as good but Iray is, imo, easier to use And it produces the look I imagine Without too much trouble  and I think that in time it will improve so all my renders will be with Iray!
thanks to all my friends and watchers for the continuing support  :)

Clean Sweep

Journal Entry: Mon Nov 24, 2014, 6:14 AM
Over the last few days I've been thinking about cleaning up my Artwork, whether it be in my gallery or what I create!
So I've decided to move away from the more raunchier art, but still create Pinups ocassionally, (fully Clothed with underwear etc no full nudity) if any of my watchers/friends need a nudity fix there are vast amounts of artist at DA that create only this type of art.

I am going through my Gallery and eliminating the raunchier and nude stuff,
so now I would like to thank all my watchers etc for their support in the past and hope you will still support my other work

To Comment or Not to Comment

Journal Entry: Tue Sep 16, 2014, 4:49 AM
That is definately the question!

I have many followers, Watchers and Friends and picking new ones up all the time, this is great, but saddly only just a very small few that care enough about my work will leave comments, this I appreciate very much, others do add my work to their favourite galleries but never leave any comments, all of us artist whether 3D or other mediums always appreciate constructive comments, this is how we improve what we do.

I find it very sad and sometimes upsetting when I spend loads of time creating my images and find that it is added to favourites without comment, I think well, you must like it but "WHAT BLOODY HELL DO YOU LIKE ABOUT IT"

OK! I've had my rant, now perhaps I will lose watchers because of it and perhaps I'll get some kind comments, only time will tell.

Now that I've said all this, from now on I will ONLY reply to comments and  will not reply to Faves only!
In the Description of the images I will always thank people in advance for viewing and Faving my work!

I now leave up to you all

Into the Future 3 - Update

Journal Entry: Fri Jun 27, 2014, 6:13 AM

It's a long while since I wrote a Journal, in my previous ones I said that I was creating my art using Reality/lux, but I am getting a bit fed up with it, it takes a age to render an image and then it doesn't always turn out as I had hoped, I don't think I've got the patience to fiddle with it anymore, I've realised that I'm not looking for photorealism as many 3D artist who use it are :)
I have decided to still use Daz Studio 4.6 to create and render my images, lighting is very important so I have now got a new light set from Daz3D called Dreamlight Pro 4.6 and Light Dome Pro that have been created for Daz Studio 4.6 and so far I have been very happy with the results, it will, like anything else, take time to master but a lot easier than Reality/Lux and at my time of life easier is better.

In my Gallery I have now moved all my images that were rendered in Reality/Lux into their own folder, my main Gallery will be for my versions of Punk, SteamPunk, Cyberpunk and SciFi with the occasional Titillation  :)

So to all my watchers and friends hope you will still like my work, but one thing I would ask  Please, Please leave a comment if you add my stuff to your favourites page, constructive comments are always helpful to improve what I create.

Into The Future 2

Journal Entry: Tue Sep 24, 2013, 4:50 AM
In my last entry I said that I am dedicating my gallery to creating images with Daz Studio 4.6 Pro, Reality 2.5 and Luxrender 1.2.
Over the years I have built up a library of items that are for Poser, a lot of these I am able to use in Daz Studio, but others, I can only use in Poser, I have looked on the RMP and RDNA pages and found that the items that the vendors create are not always compatable with Daz Studio this means my choice is limited.
As I stated in my previous Journal I now have a great 64bit machine so I could not use my Poser 9 as it is a 32bit program and could not use it on my new machine, so I thought, after getting frustrated with the limited choice, I decided to try and load Poser 9 onto the 64bit machine, and wow it loaded and works even better than it did before, on my hard drive I have two program lists one which lists all 64bit programs and one called Progams (x86) where my 32bit stuff and Poser 9 is kept so now I will be using DS4.6 Pro and Poser 9.

I was able, also to get Reality 3 as a Crossgrade , because I had purchased Reality 2.5 earlier this year  I was offered the Reality 3 for Poser 9 upwards Crossgrade at a lot cheaper price and it works very well even better than Reality 2.5 :)
So now I have the best of both worlds (Poser & Daz Studio) plus Reality2 and 3.
I will now be submitting images created in both, when viewing please read the Workload to find out which.
Thank you all for your continued support and hope you will still enjoy my work

Into The Future

Journal Entry: Mon Jun 10, 2013, 5:39 AM
Into the future of Rendering with DazStudio, Reality and Luxrender.

I've always tried to create  images with a bit of realism but could never achieve it to my satisfaction either in DazStudio or Poser9.
When I first saw the adverts for Reality and Luxrender plugins for DazStudio it seemed complicated and reading some of the comments I was put off with the amount of rendertime images took and the setup for the renders seemed complicated.
Eventually I bit the bullet and bought the Luxrender plugin for Dazstudio and downloaded the Luxrender engine. I tried using it with my old 32bit machine but it kept shutting down so at great expense (well worth it) I bought a highend 64 bit machine, there was a special offer on RMP for Reality 2.5 for DazStudio so after reading the info many times and the offer expiry date was very close I bought it as well.
I have read the relevant tutorials and watched all the Video's on YouTube  and followed all the advice that was written by Callad and still am absorbing the info that other 3D artists that use Reality/Luxrender are putting out with their artwork.
All my artwork in my Feature Gallery is now Dedicated to creating all my images in DazStudio, Reality and Luxrender, some turn out great and others not so, but it is a learning curve that is fun to do and render times between 1hr 30mins and 3 hrs is no problem when it produces some great results.
I like to thank all my watchers and friends for their support and hope that  instead of just looking at my work you could add some comments that could help me improve my creations

A New Start

Journal Entry: Sun Apr 7, 2013, 1:30 PM
At last my new all singing all dancing computer has arrived,   DELL XPS 8500 64bit.
I have loaded the latest version of Daz Studio 4.5 pro and am in the process of loading hundreds of files some are Poser files as well as my Daz 3D files, unfortunately not all the Poser files work in DS4.5 pro, but as I have only a 32bit version of Poser 9 I'm going to have to purchase a 64 bit version, but that's not cheap, it's lucky that DS 4.5 pro is a freeby, so all my new work will be created in DS4.4 pro until the money fairy honours me with a visit :)

I have cleared all my old images into various categories and kept my Features gallery for all my new renders, these images may not be as raunchy and risque as the previous ones, but I am still open to suggestions :D

I am striving for a more realistic renders especially with lighting etc, every time I tried to create something of quality my old computer gave up the ghost, I'm not saying that with the new machine I'm going to create perfect images, but it'll  be more fun trying knowing that my new machine  will be able to handle the higher renders without too much trouble.

I do hope that I will be able to keep my Watchers/friends happy with what I will produce, so I will say in advance thank you all for your support and encouragement you have given me over the years and hope you continue to do so.
