The Event Horizon of HellI took a leap of faith
The choice was into hell or a black hole
I said I would dive into the black hole
but dove into hell instead
I took a leap of faith
the choice was between jumping into a black hole that might have
heaven behind the spiral
or a hell that I've marched through before
I took a leap of faith
to jump into a darkness I've never gone before
or to march through a hell that I've marched through many times before
I should have made a move that some would call bold
To dive into the darkness, to get sucked into the cold
Instead I made me a choice that's making me unwell
I'm dragging myself through the hot winds of hell
Resentful I go, only dreams on my side, to the edge of the barbed wire
as I crawl through the hellfire
where howling demons are singing to me
with screeching songs of inadequacy
All good things to those who wait
is an adage that I really hate
Though it's proven itself true for multitudes of stuff
I feel I have waited long enough
I should have put my foot down an
Supermassive Black HoleStrings of starless strands
lasso my sanity,
as a Lyzzard's tongue
slays unawares a fly.
Distorted snarls melt
my glaciers in the dead of night;
vibrating in the frequency
of tachycardia.
Falling upwards
in your wells of gravity,
you set my soul alight;
spinning towards the singularity.
A blink before the light,
the brims of Space
of satin waves
smile and unweave a word:
"What?"
Black HoleCycles rise and fall to twist and turn,
conveying, infinitely, into nothingness.
Tattered remnants trail behind,
winding in an ever condensing mess.
Emptiness encircles cold remains.
Throughout time and space, nothing contains
desolate distance remains, remains, remains...
Ode to a Black HoleHuge sink drain
my naked eyes can't spot,
lays in wait for 
matter and light:
nebulae, comets, moons
planets, suns, galaxies.
