v5 - MAJOR UPDATE (Apr 17, 2023)
General:
- Increased the default size by a few pixels.
- Increased outline width and opacity.
- Added 20+ new bonus cursors.
- Renamed the transparent variation from "Original" to "Aero".
- Added transparent variations for the default hand link, resizes, and move.
- Now available in 32 and 48 pixel formats for HiDPI screens.
- Improved the Installer file;
No need to manually copy the bonus cursors folder now. The installer will do it.
- Added additional guide on how to change custom cursor size.
- Removed some bonus cursors.
- Renamed some bonus cursors.
- Changed the defaults.
PREMIUM:
- Added 50+ new bonus cursors including colored states.
- Added variations for the text beam style.
- The Free version is also now included along with the Premium Content download.
- Changed the defaults.

This is my all-time favorite cursor kit, so I wanted to port it to Linux after leaving Windows years ago.
For Linux/XCursor users: the Windows .ani/.cur files can be converted with win2xcur. I tried this myself, and the result works well overall. Transparency and animations are usually preserved, although some animated loading cursors may not look exactly the same as they do on Windows.
I put a small conversion script here:
Basic steps:
1. Install win2xcur and xorg-xcursorgen.
2. Set SRC to the folder containing the .ani/.cur files.
3. Run the script.
4. Select the new cursor theme in your desktop environment’s cursor settings.
For KDE Plasma:
System Settings -> Colors & Themes -> Cursors
