Watchers

I am very infrequent in posting art here, so here are other places I am more likely to post art:

Instagram - BittyKittyCreates
Facebook - BittyKitty Creates

Redbubble - Get my artwork on Apparel, Device cases and more!!

Etsy - Digital Download colouring pages and Original Artwork!!

Ko-Fi - Support my art and crafting for the price of a cup of coffee (or in my case, tea)

I will be doing an art dump every now and then, but it won't be all the time. Instagram is the best place to find up to date art.

Pink and Purple Deco Phone case

My first decoden phone case! I used the resin cats, wings, bows and star I made, and the roses from the $2 shop. The gel whip and pearls were from Miniature Sweet and the rhinestones and sequins were what I have in my craft boxes.

I’m pretty happy with this. I did make a couple of mistakes when I was piping the whip, but I think I covered them with the cabochons nicely.

The gel behaves a bit different to the silicone and takes much longer to set. Smells really good though.

Just my fairy garden trinket box from a different angle

(Copy past from the first picture)

The fairy garden trinket box I did for my sister in law for Christmas.

This took about five days to finish. I made a base out of foil so I wouldn't use up too much clay, then I used clay I don't use for the bottom so I wasn't gluing foil to the container lid. Then I use three packets of grey granite clay for the pond (OMG I was sick of making tiny pebbles by the end of it) and nearly two packets of green clay for the grassy area.

The white stones, mushrooms and fairies were from the Australian version of a dollar store (but most stuff is more than just a dollar, it's just a super cheap shop) and the unicorn with the mushroom was from an expensive gift shop.

I used resin for the water and polymer clay for the lilypads and reeds. And I destroyed a plastic plant for the reeds outside of the pond (I was unsure on how it would cope with the resin since plastic rhinestones dissolve in resin) and finally I used green turf that's usually used for making miniatures instead of texturing the clay for the grass like I did with my pond fairy jar lid.

All in all, I am really happy with how it turned out, and I learned a lot. The stones are kind of dusty and so even with bake and bond, the clay doesn't like to stick to them until its baked. and the grass stuff likes to go EVERYWHERE!

Christmas lolly jar
A Christmas gift for my mother in law! I decided to do a deco jar, and it was supposed to have shortbread biscuits for her partner, but son wanted it to have candy in it.

The large candy cane and holly I made myself using polymer clay and UV resin to glaze them. The gingerbread man, present and heart were made with epoxy resin, India ink, glitter, white pearl pigment powder and sprinkles. The other cabs were buttons I bought at a craft store. I had to add an owl, since she loves them and we give her an owl of some sort for Christmas every year. There's also rhinestones, plastic sprinkles and gold micro marbles.

The whip is 100% silicone I bought at work, though I'm thinking of buying it in bulk from my local hardware store instead, especially if i want to get serious about selling deco stuff. There's no additional glitter in the whip since I piped strait from the tube.
