I don't do much around here anymore, but imma' do this!1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?
11 years. Woah, really? It kinda' almost seems longer than that. 2. What does your username mean?
It's a version of my jewelry biz/Etsy shop, which is "Lunachick's Bittersweet Emporium". That is a way long name, and BittersweetLuna is the longest version of it, plus I am called "Luna" on occasion, and bittersweet is a good description of any real long term dealings with me, so BAM! That's it! 3. Describe yourself in three words.
Kooky, Awkward, Strong4. Are you left or right handed?
Right handed5. What was your first deviation?
I painted that my junior year in high school, so that beast is WAY ancient! 6. What is your favorite type of art to create?
Jewelry! Chainmaille is, of course, my specialty, but I also really love making plugs now, too! I do still love the idea of oil painting but just don't have the room to do it. 7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Stained glass and blacksmithing. I also really want to take some welding classes at some point, mainly to be able to make wicked cool sculptures.8. What was your first favorite?
I STILL love Alucard. 9. What type of art do you tend to favorite the most?
Fantasy for sure, surreal and beautiful things and wicked awesome jewelry.10. Who is your all-time favorite deviant artist?
I have many, but one that stands out, that really inspired me when I was just beginning to create jewelry, is manson-brown
I don't think she checks in these days, but I would love to talk with her after all these years! 11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? Ice-Dragoness, MsJ777 and magpie-poet
for sure. Though I am 11 years older now and WAY less interesting, I would still love to chat in person with these wonderful ladies one day.12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
When I used to be very active here, many of my DA buds helped get me through some rough times, and helped to inspire me to keep experimenting with and growing my creativity. I was fortunate enough to meet manycircles
only once, and though she is no longer here in body, she will always be in my thoughts and memories. She was incredibly kind and talented, and I think of her often.13. What are your preferred tools to create art?
Some decent pliers and a heavy duty flush cutter are always nice. My two pairs of modified Knipex are great for the heavy stainless steel I work with, and my pairs for aluminum work are crappy, 10 year old pairs from Lowes and Michaels with added cushy handle covers so they won't totally wreck my hands. 14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
I'm so boring that I only ever make anything in my tiny apartment, usually when I'm alone. But, listening to great music is always pretty inspirational for me. It helps me chill and find my groove, and so it ends up not mattering much that I'm sitting on my crappy couch in my crappy apartment while I make stuff. 15. What is your favorite DeviantArt memory?
The sometimes wacky conversations with all the great people I've known here over the years, watching them grow in their arts and being allowed the opportunity to share my evolution as well. Thanks for all the great years, friends!
