Surgery

As you can all assume by now I'm finally home, and on Sunday just as expected.

Everything went perfectly. My doctors and nurses and everyone who looked after me were super nice. God bless them.

I won't lie though, the first 24 hours were terrible, I'd never been in so much pain. But the pain went away by the second day and today I only have some mild discomfort. I'm walking around and doing breathing exercises, and I decided use the pc for a while now that I can.

It's a little upsetting that I can't have my kitties around, but we'll have to suck it up.

The wounds on my tummy are small and don't hurt, I still have my drain, it also does not hurt but knowing it's there kinda irks me because I feel like I might yank it off accidentally. I feel weak and I'm very swollen but I think I feel fine, I'm happy. I can't wait for the first couple of weeks to fly by.

I will be on liquids for 2 weeks more or less. Everything has been nice on my pouch so far, I hope I won't be having problems with that any time soon.

My mom got me a bear also, the one in the picture, it's nice and big. I love it.


Anyhow, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am home and well. Thanks for all the concern and the good wishes. I really appreciate it.
