Carnivorous Potes are decidedly more active and strong than their herbivorous counterparts, some even able to use their legs in unison to jump, a feat nearly impossible for any other Potes. Those that can use this ability to pounce down on their prey (with the help of impact-absorbing skeletal adaptations) or to catch flying prey. Some without the ability to jump have developed laminated piercing hooks on their toes, gripping onto their prey until it dies of exhaustion and blood loss. And some of the smaller species simply scavenge.
