It's October again, so that means it's time for my yearly Halloween series. This year I'll be drawing some of the scariest and more interesting demons, monsters, and villains from 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'. I thought it an appropriate time to pay homage to one of my favorite TV shows, and I hope that you all enjoy it.
I also feel like I need to give you an explanation of where I've been for a while, especially after I'd promised so much (Still Here). I had been working on a lot of projects at once, and even doing really pretty well with them. I was almost ready to start posting them, but then I got a new job. It was a small enough change in my life that I didn't think it would affect my plans, but it certainly did. It demanded so much of my psychological energy and time that my artistic drive was completely derailed and I found myself unable to come up with new ideas or draw much at all. I spent any free time I got away from work just sitting idly watching TV, and getting more and more frustrated with myself for it, my projects unfinished and abandoned.
What broke me out of this rut (only a few days ago) was the approach of October. I had made a commitment to myself when I first started doing my Halloween series that I would never miss a year of it. So I've buckled down and gotten back into the swing of things. I'll be posting my Halloween series as usual, then continuing with the other projects I'd had lined up for a more consistent stream of content. Sorry about the long dry spell.
Happy Halloween everyone!
